Justin Bayili

Executive Secretary

In July 2012, Justin Bayili became the first Managing Director of the Borderless Alliance. Justin Bayili is Burkinabé by nationality, and brings a wealth of experience to the Alliance.

A graduate of the University of Ouagadougou and the School for National Administration, he has previously held posts in Burkina Faso as Public Relations Manager at the Ministry for Economic Promotion (now the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Mines), as Executive Secretary of the Burkinabe Association for Quality Management (ABMAQ) and as Managing Director of the Export Promotion Center (APEX-Burkina). He has also worked as a consultant in Quality Management Systems to the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), the World Bank, and West African economic institutions such as UEMOA and ECOWAS.

Afua Eshun

Advocacy Programs Manager

Mrs. Afua Eshun joined the Borderless Alliance in July 2013 as Advocacy and Program Advisor. In this role she plans and coordinates activities of the Alliance with partners as well as private and public sector stakeholders. Prior to joining the Alliance she worked with the West Africa Trade Hub’s Transport component from August 2008 – June 2013. She also has eight years of experience in the private sector transport industry, working in a variety of roles in Maersk Ghana Limited including customer service, logistics, exception handling and streamlining of processes and procedures to enhance service delivery. Ms. Eshun holds an MBA from the University of Ghana, Legon and is also a member of the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers (London).

Bright Gowonu

Program Coordinator

Bright Senam Gowonu joined the USAID West Africa Trade Hub in July 2010 as Technical Assistant to the Transport Infrastructure program. Prior to joining the USAID Trade Hub Bright worked with eProcess International SA (a subsidiary of Ecobank Transnational Inc.) He helped to establish the Borderless Alliance, and currently holds two positions at the USAID Trade Hub: as the Coordinator of the Borderless Alliance Secretariat and as a Transport Specialist. He is a graduate from the University of Ghana, Legon. Bright speaks English and French.

Awudu Z. Hamidu

Finance Manager

Awudu Hamidu Zingomah joined the Borderless Alliance in July 2013. Awudu Zingomah is responsible for all financial decisions and reporting done, budgeting, and projection of cash flows. Prior to joining the Borderless Alliance Team, Awudu worked for USAID/ West Africa Trade Hub as an Accountant, worked in the Inspectorate Unit for the Social Security and National Insurance Trust (SSNIT) and also as a Field Officer for the Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA).

Aline Adamou

Admin & Logistics Officer

Aline Adamou joined the Borderless Alliance in April 2013 as the Administrative and Logistics Officer. Prior to joining the Borderless Alliance, she worked for the USAID/West Africa Trade Hub as the Technical Assistant in the Transport Infrastructure component. Aline holds a Bilingual Higher Diploma in Office Management from the Alliance Francaise.

Dela Benson Bani

ICT Specialist

Mr. Bani joined the Borderless Alliance in July 2013 as the ICT specialist. He has worked with the USAID West Africa Trade Hub since August 2005 till June 2013 as the Head of Information Technology. Mr. Bani manages the computer network, and contact database and Alliance website.

Expert practical knowledge of diverse technological areas, system administration, network,  web security, content management systems, online collaboration tools, and knowledge management systems. Mr. Bani holds a Bsc. in Computer Science form KNUST and Msc. In Telecoms Management from Ghana Technology University.
